What of it? (working title)
Should dusty breeze breathe me
Into a happier death of mind?
And should unsightly jewel
Warm me if wind tremble me?
Should I climb if it is above me -
See show if light enable me -
What of dull, peakless mountains?
Would sunlight mirrored in the green
Open my eyes to a wide-stretched path?
Dare I tread it, dread it, watch for the end,
Or to the birds my final burdens lend?
For God, with my heart, my life contend,
And He my ignorant soul does bend.
